The Humboldt Yacht Club has actively promoted recreational boating on Humboldt Bay and surrounding waters since 1938. We have a full calendar of events for dinghies, keelboats, offshore and in-bay racing, as well as many social events during the year. Most of all, we provide sailors and other recreational boaters with a community of fellow enthusiasts.

Our beautiful clubroom is located in the west-wing of the Wharfinger Building. With its picturesque location, we proudly showcase the "Best View on the Bay." Club members frequently bring a bag lunch, or meet a friend and relax and enjoy the view. The clubroom can be reserved by club members for family parties or special events, and is available for rental by the public.

Themed potluck dinners and general membership meetings are held at 7:00 pm on the first Tuesday of each month [except January and September]. We meet in the Great Room of the Wharfinger Building located at the Eureka Public Marina, One Marina Way, Eureka. Board of Governors’ meetings are held at 7:00 pm in our clubroom on the second Tuesday of each month, and are open to all club members.

The Humboldt Yacht Club is open to anyone who enjoys, or would like to enjoy, recreational boating on Humboldt Bay. Our dues are $180 a year, with a one-time $60 initiation fee.

If you would like more information, or a membership application, please join us for our Potluck on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm, or call Larry Fox, Vice Commodore, at 707-845-4854 or email: lawrencefoxiii@gmail
